Norwegian people could feel very proud of such a blues band like Blues Basement They have a very contemporary modern style of doing all blues compositions and arrangements included on both cds but, at the same time, they sound very classic and orthodox which makes them to be a really interesting band For most of us who passionately live and love blues, it is a joyful satisfaction to see that we can find in Europe a large number of musicians with a high blues knowledge and quality Both cds are a good example of the kind of blues performing one can listen to around Europe Talking about Blues Basement, Bruce Iglauer once said: deep feeling and good sound too Finally say that the first cd is an unplugged recording and the second one is mostly acoustic too Enjoy with this band that comes from a cold country but plays a warm blues
