Here comes a Belgian blues band which tastefully cooks an appetizing curious mixture of raw blues, swamp, slidin’ groove, swing, jump and Texas blues shuffle. Also, the Black Cat Biscuit’s lyrics tell us about daily life situations, and they do it on a natural unaffected way, something that now is not so common in many groups that only try to call listeners’ attention instead performing with spontaneity and quality.

Four years ago, the band participated at the Belgium national challenge, organized to choose the band which will participate at the European Blues Challenge. They won the national challenge, so they represented their country at the EBC in Ponta Delgada (Azores Islands), where they got the fourth place. In recent years they have played all over Europe, performing in Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany and Portugal.

The group includes Bart “Yasser” Arnauts on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ralle Claes on lead guitar and vocals, Mark “Mr. Mighty” Sepanski on harmonica and vocals, Patrick “P Daddy” Indestege on bass, double bass and vocals and Jeff “Junior” Gijbels on drums

A very interesting recording that brings listeners many new and different things, always in a totally blues environment, performed with a precise technique and good taste, displayed by this magnificent band called Black Cat Biscuit.
