I have no fear to tell you Belgium has today a very lively dynamic blues scene New bands with an undeniable quality have appeared in quite a few years in this small European country, which confirms blues music has a good health, not only in their original country but also all over Europe Black Cat Biscuit is a good example of what I am saying, and they confirm it with the twelve excellent song included in this album, which show their influences of bright West Coast swing, California jump blues, passionate Texas Blues, hypnotic shuffles and old deep boogies in the path of those John Lee Hooker used to play Winners at 2018 Belgium Blues Challenge, Black Cat Biscuit include Bart Yasser Arnauts on vocals and second guitar, Stanley Patty on lead guitar, Mark Mr Mighty Sepanski on harmonica, Patrick P Daddy Indestege on bass and double bass and Jeff Junior Gijbels on drums, represent Belgium at 2019 European Blues Challenge in Ponta Delgada in the beautiful Azores islands
