Norwegian singer and guitar player Bjorn Berge, also known as “SteelFinger Slim” is a versatile artist who can both play rock and blues and perform solo or surrounded by a band. This time he presents an acoustic album where he is only backed by a Resonator guitar, that doesn’t prevent him to sound as if other musicians were playing with him, not only for the intensity he communicates in each of the songs but also thanks to his remarkable technique, that makes many people say he is like a “string machine”.

Bjorn started playing guitar at the age of thirteen, after discovering musicians like Robert Johnson, Elmore James or John Hammond. Later on, he has gradually evolved and nowadays he not only plays traditional blues, but his repertoire includes other wide influences, adding a deep raw voice forged in his many shows in dark crowded clubs all over his country.

The album gathers ten songs, three own compositions, other three co-written with Tim Scott McConnell, and four covers. All of them include the variety of tonalities and chromatic nuances Bjorn develops in his music to make it sound different, original and very personal.

Although this work can sometimes be difficult to assimilate, it nevertheless has the necessary charisma to interest many listeners who like to investigate and discover some of the good musicians coming from northern Europe.
