Born in Boise, Idaho, Billy Truitt’s life has gone traveling from here to there, most of the time as a musician in different bands. However, his main way to earn a living has been by working in different recording studios which has made him to reach a huge experience in that subject. Truitt also set up his own recording studio, together with friends and colleagues Terry Miller and Charlie Coe.

When Curb Records offered him a job as a producer, Billy didn’t think it twice and settled in Southern California, where he became very popular, not only as a producer but also as a really demanded musician in California blues scene. Now Truitt basically works in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has formed his own band, The Vegas Strip Kings. Together with them he has recorded this new album, where you will find ten excellent songs that communicate fun and joy, with the aim to make listeners enjoy and get the most of each song, every time they listen to them.

The musicians involved are Billy Truitt on vocals, piano, Hammond, accordion and electric and acoustic guitar, Al Ek on guitars, lap steel, harmonica and vocals in one song, Chris Tofield on electric guitar, Jimmy Carpenter on saxos, Justin Truitt on drums and percussion, Mike Seifrit on bass, Steve Eaton on vocals in one track and Bob Edwards on bass in one track too. The final production and seven of the ten compositions also come from Billy Truitt.

A good album where blues and rhythm and blues will surely be pleasantly savored along the forty-one minutes of this really entertaining recording.
