Since the beginning of the 70’s, singer Billy Price has captivated audiences all over the world, thanks to his vocal qualities that always appear full of strength, intensity, colour and passion Unforgettable was his work with Roy Buchanan and Otis Clay This is the fifteenth album of his career, a recording where, together with his band, he delights us with eleven songs on a series of the most eclectic actual blues, rhythm and blues, funk and soul Besides a couple of songs Billy has co-written, the album includes covers of different songs coming from greatest legends such as William Bell, Percy Mayfield, James Brown or Magic Sam, this last one with an incredible version of the tune What Have I Done Wrong The album was recorded with Billy surrounded by more than ten musicians during a live show in front of a totally enthusiastic devoted audience who certainly enjoyed it as much as I am enjoying it now sitting in front of my desk table listening to this excellent recording The musical flames that come from every song help to keep alive the beat putting always the stress in the right place This is an amazing album you cannot overlook without penalty of sanction
