Excellent cd with blues and Americana music, by an artist gifted with amazing vocal, instrumental and vocal qualities Billy Lavender brings us a first class album with inspired effective arrangements, backed by a selection of inspired able musicians Born in Memphis, he shows a good dose of talent along this genuine and perfectly done cd, including fourteen intense songs, conceived with tasteful music criteria Some of the performing musicians are masters of Beale Street sound, such as singers Tony Adams, Ken Dinkins, Vince Johnson or Miss Reba Rusell, guitarist Brad Webb, harmonica players Vince Johnson and Blind Mississippi Morris, and some other ones who play the rest of the band instruments, bass, drums, B-3 organ and piano There is a fine elegant sample of different styles and tempos, from slow to up-tempos, r&r, medium shuffling, grooves and other music surprises Are you ready for the adventure? Billy Lavender and his musicians invite you to share it with them
