Big Walker is a singer and harmonica player who has settled in Sweden He learned to play harp when he was only seven years old and he often used to stay at the small club his uncle John Wooden had in Cleveland, Ohio In 1962 he moved with his mother to San Francisco and there he had his first musical influences listening to Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin or Jefferson Airplane But it was in the seventies when he decided to devote himself to blues music Here Big Walker comes with an honest traditional blues cd where he passionately brings us the best of himself The backing musicians do a correct performing and make up the lack of technique with a lot of enthousiasm and devotion to the music they are playing Special mention to Zora Young’s vocals, a deluxe guest, who gives a powerful singing together with a communicative feeling to an especially well built cd
