It is a pity Big Harp George had not decided until year 2014 to totally devote himself to perform and become popular in blues business because, if I had done it before, he would certainly have given many bright incredible moments of superb blues to all blues fans We regret we have not been able to enjoy his music until a few years ago, as he is one of the most interesting harmonica players of West Coast jump blues Anyway, in the short time Big Harp George has devoted himself to play blues, he has reached an amazing popularity and recognition among all blues lovers, thanks to his undeniable quality both as singer and as diatonic and chromatic harmonica performer So I can only tell you it is always a real pleasure to listen to his music and enjoy his huge talent To prove it, here we have his last work, an excellent album that does not lack anything, as you will find swing, rockin’ blues, jump, jive, punch, twist, groove and… an amazing feeling! This is an excellent recording that will not leave anyone indifferent, where Big Harp George appears as a superb excellent musician, backed by some really great musicians who will astonish more than one, so I can’t stop mention Kid Andersen, Little Charlie Batty or Michael Peloquin among them
