Since the release of his first album in 2014, the fame, prestige and quality of singer, songwriter and harmonica player Big Harp George has not stopped to grow and today he is considered by blues lovers and specialized media as one of the best and most outstanding harmonica players of San Francisco area, although he comes from Canada, who perform blues with chromatic harmonica.

Despite his appearance in the music world was rather late, as for years he devoted himself to work as a criminal defense attorney and professor of law, if you listen to his recordings, it seems he has been all his life in the first line of professional blues music. Big Harp George has a terrific harmonica playing technique, as well as a pleasant voice to sing blues as well as West Coast, swing, jump or jive.

This new album confirms what has been said so far, and includes twelve original compositions plus the version of “She’s A Woman” coming from Lennon-McCartney he performs in a bluesy key. All songs invite us to a wide and bright journey to the most elegant suggestive blues and jazz you can find in California area, with a powerful but, at the same time, elegant performing which includes Big Harp George on vocals and harmonica, Chris Burns on keyboards, Joe Kyle Jr. on bass, Derrick D’Mar Martin and June Core on drums, Kid Andersen on guitar, Michael Peloquin on tenor sax and Mike Rinta on trombone, together with some other guest musicians.
