Here comes a new duo willing to travel to the old acoustic blues paths just as all non-written rules say, in other words, including acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals, which develop a repertoire based on songs coming from Willie Dixon, Jimmy Rogers, Magic Slim, Howlin’ Wolf, John Brim, Son House, Charley Patton, Roosevelt Sykes or Sonny Boy Williamson among others.

The duo includes Big Frank Mirra on vocals, guitars and dobro and Mike Smith on acoustic and amplified harmonicas, plus the collaboration of Matt Raymond on bass in six songs.

The repertoire is displayed with feeling and an extreme commitment, putting the necessary groove in all their performance, developed in an expressive way that evokes the spirit of the real genuine 60’s folk-blues.

Although they are not master ones, the true thing is they do not pretend to be impressive players. All their performances are endowed with feeling enough to communicate their passion for the music they play and, in this way, make listeners feel totally identified with them, to enjoy those blues that fortunately will never die when they are played from the deepest part of the heart and, at least, these musicians really try to make it like that.
