Big Dave McLean is a Canadian musician who has developed a reputed and strong career in the area he usually moves on This time he has travelled to Nashville to record for Black Hen Music The album was produced by an outstanding name with a broad recognition in the country capital I am talking about Mr Steve Dawson Besides Big Dave, the other musicians who participated in the recording were Kevin McKendree on keyboards, John Dymond on bass and Gary Craig on drums along with some guests musicians like Colin Linden, Colin James and The McCrary Sisters, who all together rounded up the beautiful spectacle locked in this cd to make it sound with a sweet fragrance and a totally nice appearance The album includes original McLean songs together with versions coming from Skip James, Tampa Red, Tom Waits, Ray Lamontagne and The Wood Brothers Gifted with a voice that sometimes could remind great Long John Baldry’s one, together with a guitar and harmonica playing that come out from the depths of his heart, Dave shows himself as an honest and completely sensitive artist
