This album is the second one that gathers a really special show that, during two very special nights in October 2016, Big Creek Slim offered playing solo at a house backyard in Vaerloese, Denmark, in front of a reduced well known selected audience of no more than twenty-five people, drinking and having fun together After their previous studio albums with his own band, Big Creek Slim felt the pressing need to express his devotion for rural blues and especially to Robert Johnson Big Creek Slim feels a deep connection with, besides a really expert Along those two albums listener will discover an artist who sometimes wishes to be black instead a white man because, as he says, he does not understand most of the attitudes of white society The connection with Robert Johnson and other bluesmen of that time becomes evident along the sixteen songs included in this new album where, only with his voice and his guitar, Big Creek Slim communicates all the mysterious meaning and message of Robert Johnson, but also of bluesmen like Tommy Johnson, Skip James, Charley Patton, Robert Lee McCoy and some other legendary names
