Big Al And The Heavyweights are certainly one of the most recognized and respected bands of the actual blues scene. Their dynamism and expressiveness on stage bring action and frenetic communication, which allows them to be one of the most requested groups in bars, clubs, cafes and festivals.

Led by drummer Al Lauro, he started his career together with David Alan Coe and Warren Haynes in the late seventies. Later on Al decided to lead his own band which, at present, includes Wayne Lohr on keyboards and vocals, Marcel Anton on guitar and vocals, Mark Parsons on bass and vocals and, naturally, the great Big Al Lauro behind the drum-set.

The new album presents fourteen songs all them developed with an amazing personal efficiency, where they move with a commercial festive air along such styles they know so well like roadhouse blues and a little of southern country rock in the path of the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd. The recording also features some special guests like Luther Dickinson or Jason Ricci among others.
