It is popularly said the third time is the charm After the first two albums published in 2013, Frank Bey and Anthony Paule come back to dress their third work with great music and appear more mature, settled and cool than ever Except the new trumpet player Tom Poole, the group remains the same, that is to say Frank Bey on vocals, Anthony Paule on guitar, Paul Revelli on drums and percussion, Tony Lufrano on keyboards, Paul Olguin on bass, Mike Rinta on trombone and all arrangements, Nancy Wright on tenor sax, plus a vocal trio that puts the stress in the more soul compositions They all really contribute to give the necessary power to wrap up ten original songs and two excellent versions that form this magnificent album where genuine southern blues and intense dancing soul are mixed in equal parts Although the band has changed its old name Frank Bey & Anthony Paule Band simply shortening it to Bey Paule Band, thee quality has not become shorten or reduced an inch, but even it has increased along this superior album
