Although this album only gathers five songs, they serve as an introduction to this new Spanish blues singer who actually has settled in Madrid where she has formed her own band, Betta & The Groovers, together with great guitar player Pablo Sanpa, after spending a long season in Chicago where she recorded this album, backed by a wide staff of windy city musicians like, among others, Max V on guitars, Roosevelt Purifoy on Hammond B3 and keyboards, Marty Sammon on piano, Kenny Hampton on bass, Jason Grant on drums or Pedro Gracia on harmonica, plus a horn section which gives to the songs a bright brilliant display.

With this debut recording Betta shows all her possibilities as a more than interesting blues singer who, if she works on it, could become a real blues diva, because qualities, dedication, passion and eager to please can be found along these five songs that will help most listeners to discover this singer called Betta and take her into account in the next future.
