Brazilian guitarist, singer, producer, composer and writer Betho Ieesus defines himself as a rational actual musician and blues storyteller However, his music presents other variants and facets, sometimes quite hidden and difficult to imagine, due to the multiculturalism of Brazil and the influences coming from Africa and Europe Betho has also developed a productive career as a writer, but he has not forgotten music Influenced by those blues which were performed from 30’s to 70’s, after the good reception of his previous album Pretty Woman Blues, he now publishes a new album that gathers ten songs, seven sung in English and three in Portuguese, some ones with a simple easygoing musical background and others with a rich contribution of varied instruments as well as a well teamed horn section which help to round up a right well performed album that, at the same time, communicates a good dose of sensitivity The blues and the exoticism of Brazilian roots music come together with the honest and sincere charisma of a musician called Betho Ieesus
