Singer and guitar player Beth Garner is well known by all Nashville and Tennessee area music lovers, both in folk and roots music circles and blues ones, two styles she feels comfortable with, sliding on them like fish in water With this new work Beth takes a step forward going along gospel, soul and rock and roll ways, but she never forgets the real basis of her music that, as just mentioned, are deeply rooted in blues and folk Besides Beth Garner in lead guitar, slide and vocals, the rest of the musicians involved in the recording are Rory Hoffman on baritone sax, keyboards and rhythm guitar, Steve Forrest on bass, West Little on drums and Angela Primm and Gale Mayes on backing vocals Although the album only includes seven songs, they will be enough to make you discover and realize all the musical potential that surrounds an artist who is called to be recognized and admired all over America and, why not?, by a good number of music lovers around the world I am absolutely convinced that both her music and her talent, will seduce them as she has already done with me
