Here come some folks of The Renovators that, one day, decided to change their name for Bergers With Mayo to only record this live cd from Pete’s club This happened on December the 7th 1991 For that particular event they chose a bunch of versions of songs and artists they deeply admired, such as JB Lenoir, Jimmy Hendrix, Doc Pomus, Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray or Stevie Ray Vaughan As you can immediately see, it was a wide ‘bluesy’ selection But, of course, they manage to give them their own agressive, powerful style they have got after so many years of playing together in hundreds of clubs and bars The result is an interesting cd of good hard-rock-blues drivin’ coming of this powerful trio, also known as The Renovators
