Led by the explosive voice of Jade Bennet and the powerful guitar of Gino Matteo, The Bennet Matteo Band present their new work recorded for Gulf Coast Records, an album that shows the band versatility and amazing skills for improvisation. It has been recorded at Kid Andersen’s Greaseland Studios, who also collaborates on guitar. The rest of musicians include Michael Burnham on bass and Carson Ford on drums, with Jim Pugh and again Kid Andersen on keyboards, Nic Clark on harmonica and Dmar on percussion.

Gino and Jade met in 2010 and chemistry and good harmony immediately appeared between them. While Gino was on tour with singer Sugaray Rayford, Jade began to write songs to perform together. Later on, Jade joined Rayford’s band too, until both musicians decided to start their solo career and recorded their first album together. Although the pandemic made them stop their plans, they now come back with more determination and strength than ever to delight us with a handful of magnificent songs that will pleasantly surprise most listeners.
