Ben Poole is a guitarist who has deeply inspired himself in blues to build and develop a particular style to conceive rock His new proposal is restrained and very convincing Despite his youth -he is only twenty-seven years old-, this British singer and guitarist easily moves with a remarkable professionalism into the intricate ways of British rock He has received good words and congratulations by some of his heroes such as Jeff Beck and John Mayall who really enjoyed his expertise and tasteful way of playing his Fender Telecaster Seven of the twelve cd songs are Ben Poole’s own compositions He has done two more together with his producer Ike Nobsel, another another one belongs to Patrick Jason Matthews and Jeff Prince, one more comes from Earl Randle and finally you will also find a cover of an Otis Redding and Steve Cropper song Ben Poole and his trio have also peformed in some outstanding blues festivals like Glastonbury Festival In 2012 they represented United Kingdom at the European Blues Challenge, organized by the European Blues Union reaching the third place, and they have also been booked in rock festivals like Rock Rhodes in Greece or Legends of Rock The musicians are Ben Poole guitar and vocals, Barry Pethers bass and Alan Taylor drums We should closely follow the musical career of this young rock/blues promise I am sure he will give much to talk about in the next future
