Beauwater is a well teamed trio, with clear good defined musical bases they cleverly perform with taste and good judgment, whose live shows are really popular and well known along Canadian east coast Looking for inspiration in rock and blues pioneers, the band crosses the musical boundaries of these two styles, thanks to their powerful riffs, the incisive cutting voices and the passionate grooves they always do, creating a distinctive effective style framed on a contemporary wrapping atmosphere, in accordance with the special times we are living today This last recording gathers ten carefully selected songs that showcase the natural skills and musical resources of the three band members, Jonathon Reid on guitar and vocals, Greg Newhook on bass and Mike Maddox on drums To complete the album they have counted with some of the musicians they had previously collaborated with, like Chris Kirby on keyboards and slide guitar in one song, Kelly Hoppe on harmonica, Terry Campbell on trumpet and Chris Harnett on tenor sax With these musicians the trio expressive strength becomes even more noticeable on an album that delivers true and honest raw rocking blues
