The band’s passion for fourties and fifties blues as well as different kinds of Louisiana blues and Kansas City shouters, can bee immediately seen on this cd that comes across the southern typical dishes that BB & The Blues Shacks give us on a delicious original menu that Arlt brothers have tastefully cooked for all of us The band gives a faithful tribute to the kind of blues they most like, taking a very close sound to the originals they love all over the seventeen songs included in this cd It is remarkable that a German band has done a so passionate genuine and original work as BB & The Blues Shacks have done in this Midnite Diner There must also be mentioned the vocal qualities but specially the interesting work Michael Arlt has done with amplified and acoustic diatonic harp and over all with chromatic harp he is a real master In short words, this is a cd that will not disappoint any blues lover
