BB and The Blues Shacks are a clear example of a teamed, good crafted, fine tuned band The group sounds compact and right In this new work they have moved away from the spirit they started the group, which was to follow the path and tradition of forties and fifities West Coast and Texas jump, swing and blues bands In this recording BB & The Blues Shacks have sought for a more commercial, happy and attractive line, in short words, a more pop oriented music, with own songs and soul influences, and they have shelved a little bit the classic rhythm and blues they used to play It is evident they are now investigating on a new sound, a new line and vision of their music and things are going pretty well for them In fact they started this new line with their last album Unique Taste The Arlt brothers band follow with London Days a new way, pointing more to a commercial contemporary soul-blues From these lines, I wish them good luck in all their new projects
