Here comes one of the most popular bands, really appreciated by good European blues fans BB & the Blues Shacks have a long history, with more than twenty years playing the music they like and, in Germany, their native country, they are good respected musicians among blues circles The group was originally formed by brothers Andreas and Michael Arlt, both lovers of Texas and Chicago blues, as well as 40’s and 50’s rhythm and blues In their repertoire, you will always find tributes to Little Walter and T-Bone Walker Sixteen perfect new songs, performed on an easy going way, always with very actual arrangements and overflowing soul and groove in equal parts is what you will find in this new digi-pack album with an exquisite elegant design too All songs are Arlt brothers’ own compositions, based on the original roots music tradition, with the most genuine Southern soul, to the most fast raw blues one can imagine The whole arrangements, plus the really teamed band musicians and the horn section are superb, so the voice, harmonica and guitar of Arlt brothers’ are really amazing In short words, this is nothing than a great album
