Together with his band, The Legendary Hearts, Barney Bentall developed a successful career during the eighties and nineties, winning the prestigious Canadian JUNO awards and receiving several platinum albums. Afterwards he started a solo career and now Barney is member of bluegrass and folk band The High Bar Gang and lives on a ranch in Cariboo, British Columbia.

The album gathers eleven songs, nine own compositions framed in styles such as traditional folk or American roots acoustic music. It also includes a couple of covers, one coming from Bob Dylan “You’re Going To Make Me Lonesome When You Go” and the other one entitled “Shadows” written by Gordon Lightfoot. Along the whole recording Barney presents the songs in a very relaxed way but, at the same time, with a remarkable charisma that comes from the deepest part of his heart and soul, showing he really loves the music he performs that he cleverly wraps it with an intimate calm atmosphere.
