Balta Bordoy is an elegant guitar player from Mallorca, now based in Barcelona, who precisely masters styles like the most genuine blues, swing or jazz.

Now he has just released a recording under his own name, selecting thirteen excellent songs, which also include some instrumental ones, that become a varied and interesting range of rhythms that allow us to appreciate his guitar playing versatility, that easily moves among the aforementioned styles.

Bordoy has also counted with an outstanding band which do a relevant work, with Nil Mujal on sax and vocals, Arnau Julià on drums and vocals, besides featuring Víctor Puertas on vocals and Hammond B3, all them masters of their instruments, who manage to make Balta feel totally comfortable to develop a very eclectic blues repertoire where swing and jazz subtly slide with an extreme good taste, something that will surely delight all listeners who look for quality music and enjoy a work displayed with excellent technique but, at the same time, with a good dose of passion and feeling.
