From Athens, Greece’s comes the Bag Of Nails’ new release Led by Panos Katsikogiannis on guitar and vocals, the trio also includes Giorgos Antoniadis on bass and backing vocals and Agis Gkritzios on drums and percussion They could be defined as a psychedelic blues rock trio which find inspiration in blues and rock sounds coming from the late 60’s and early 70’s, although the band goes beyond these sounds, as they often give free rein to their imagination by creating new improvisations where they show their huge creativity Formed in 2015, the Bag Of Nails have performed in a good number of rock and blues festivals in their country, and they even opened for guitar player Martin Turner of legendary Wishbone Ash in 2019 With all these references, they want to take a new step forward to let audiences be aware of the artistic and creative potential they carry in their musical luggage The ten songs selected for the album will certainly please not only blues rock lovers but also a wider and more heterodox audience
