A group of veteran Canadian musicians have got together under the name of Badger’s Caravan to record their first album where they want to express and communicate their devotion to the genres they love most, like folk, rock, Celtic music, blues, cabaret, vaudeville and Balkan music.

The group was formed in 2021 by three good friends who for years shared the same musical tastes, composing and meeting often to play together. Thanks to their friendship and the long evenings sharing their songs, they have reached an own distinctive sound that connects easily with the audience.

For the debut album they have selected eleven varied songs that drive us from 30’s Paris cafes to 70’s folk and roots music, spiced with ballads or sentimental love songs they composed and wrote some years ago.

Brian Froese is on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Bill McCrone is on bass and George Trainor on drums. The album also features Mookie Williams Foster on saxes in the song “Top Of The Heat”.

A fresh original recording that allows us to know and taste the interesting work of three musicians totally devoted to popularize these styles that today would be practically forgotten if there were no people like Brian, Bill and George.
