Coming from Colorado, Babaux & The Peacemakers present their new recording that, based on acoustic roots music, also incorporates new sounds and other tonalities that make them sound different and original.

Led by Cristian Basso, aka, Babaux, on vocals, resonator guitar, twelve-string guitar and songwriting, the rest of the musicians are Eric Martínez on lead guitar and vocals, Mike Davidov on bass and Jake Herman on drums and congas. Cristian is passionate about the dobro, and in fact, he began to compose on this instrument, which opened a new field of expression and became a vehicle to adapt his voice to his own compositions, something that makes them sound totally honest, and a way to show all the things he wants to communicate to listeners. The rich nuances that the dobro brings to him perfectly match with his rough raw voice, that give as a result a really personal performance.

The recording includes nine songs framed in roots music with different touches of country, swamp, bayou blues, acoustic funk, southern rock or even some hippie influences, which provide a wide variety to the album songs, to in this way reach a diversity of tonalities that will make most listeners enjoy the good work of a band which expand the music they like to perform to new and unexplored landscapes, without forgetting the deep roots they come from.
