Here comes a splendid exciting blues band, which knows what they want to do and how to connect with all listeners Atomic Road Kings have twist, groove, an overwhelming swing, because the way they perform the most genuine raw blues is really superb The band sound follows the path of the missing Red Devils, that band that was led by the late Lester Butler, or The Mississippi Mudsharks, led by charismatic harmonica player and singer Bily Watson Atomic Road Kings members are Eric Von Herzen harmonica, Kile Jester guitar and vocals (personally Kile vocal pìtch reminds me the one of guitar player Robben Ford), Bret Harding bass and Tom Essa drums The band has got a good recognition by audiences and specialized media in Southern California blues circles They have also toured Europe performing in countries like Belgium, Netherland, France and Germany Now Atomic Road Kings have a non stop rooster of gigs in clubs and festivals and they always get an amazing success among diverse audiences, ranging from punk fans to motor rockers or simple rockabilly lovers I can only tell you this is an excellent debut album
