I am listening to these old recordings that were done in November 10th, 1969 They come from the favourite bluesman of Elvis Presley, while my heart beats excited, becasue I feel I can communicate and be in perfect union with him in the whole cd, to thank him for the great musical legacy he left to all blues fans around the world These recordings were not previously released, so now Delmark has published them for pleasure, joy and satisfaction of all lovers and followers of Arthur Big Boy Crudup’s music, because the historical contribution of to this singer, guitarist and composer is really outstanding Besides Arthur ‘Big Boy’ Crudup on guitar and vocals, you will find a couple of the most important musicians of 60’s Chicago blues, Mark Thompson bass in five songs and Willie Big Eyes Smith on drums Also mention the excellent contribution of two deluxe guests musicians Jimmy Fast Fingers Dawkins and Mike Thompson guitars in four different songs If you like the most pure, emotional, deep raw blues, this is the treasure you have been looking for a long time
