I have really enjoyed listening to this young man, known as one of the representatives of hard rock-blues who, in this cd, has completely changed his usual musical style This does not mean he has left off the kind of music we love and review in these pages, but the blues he plays is done in an accoustic way, changing the usual high volume by a more traditional way, following a simple, calm, relaxed line Some drops of neo-delta-blues, spiced with some gospel give out a well built piece of work, done under solid and effective patterns Gomes also has good taste and a lot of feeling
