Hurricane Annika Chambers comes back to the recording market together by her inseparable guitar player Paul Deslauriers, with an album that faithfully shows the unbelievable power, feeling and stage presence of this indomitable woman, who has already become in her own right a new star of contemporary blues and soul.

The album opens with an intense emotional song entitled “You’ve Got To Believe” that oozes enough strength and courage to make your hair stand on end. It also includes some versions of songs coming from well-known artists like George Harrison, Joe South or Little Willie John, plus an impressive version of the classic “Mississippi Queen” together with some Annika’s own compositions like “Stand Up”, “Heavy Load” or the just mentioned “You’ve Got To Believe”.

The album was conceived as a therapy against the pandemic. In drummer Chris Peet’s home studio, met Annika Chambers, Paul Deslauriers, guitar player JP Soars and, of course, Chris Peet. What was originally thought to be a quartet, was increased with other musicians who contributed to magnify the project.
