From Navarra comes the first album of The Animal Blues, a recording where these musicians show blues can be performed on very different ways The cd gathers eleven song covers, from well known ones to other darker ones, they manage to give their own personality and a new dimension with an elegant display and not losing a whit of strength, expressivity and spontaneity This group is formed by Juanma Urriza on drums, Kike Arza on bass, Alejandro Mingot on guitar and lap steel and Jaime Alvarelos on guitar and vocals They have also counted with the valuable collaboration of Fredi Pelaez on keyboards and Hammond and Batiz on guitar and music production, together with a horn section with Ion Celestino on trumpet, Miguel ‘Pintxo’ Villar on sax and Eneko Urrestarazu on trombone All they have managed to make up some interesting creative arrangements, on a collection of covers that might be not very interesting but, thanks to these musicians good work, become a more than remarkable songs
