Angue Jazz brings us their last work, where a new member has been added to complete a four members group The trio formed by Rocio-Angue Eson as a fierce and remarkable singer, Ignasi Morral on alto sax and Ernesto Olvera on piano, is now completed by Cuban master Humberto Carrero on congas, a musician with more than fifty-five years of musical career behind him, which becomes a guarantee for the rest of musicians, as he provides a restrained rhythm and the lively colours Caribbean musicians always give to the music This is the second album of this young Barcelona group which, with only a couple of years of existence have already done more than eighty shows The recording includes six traditional jazz songs with compositions that come from Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Jordan, Fats Waller or the Mill Brothers, plus one own composition entitled Sunset In The Tropic, with beautiful lyrics by American poet James W Johnson, that follows the same pattern of the other songs If you want to know some more detailed information about the band, the album and their projects, do not hesitate and visit their page, where you will find everything about Angue Jazz you should know
