Like many other singers, Angela Easley began to stand out at the age of eight in the church she used to go on Sundays morning with her family. At thirteen she won a local talent competition which allowed her to record her first song. With almost twenty years Angela traveled to Nashville where she released her first songs as a professional and, in 2019, she published a version of the famous song “The House Of The Rising Sun” that marked a milestone in her professional evolution. Since then on she began a rising career and now Angela and her band are residents at the legendary Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar located in the famous Printers Alley in Nashville, Tennessee.

This album was recorded in New Orleans and Nashville and captures the incredible atmosphere that is breathed during their regular performances at the just mentioned Nashville club. A collection of six songs with clear influences of blues, rock, country, funk and southern soul will let listeners appreciate the vocal qualities of this singer who also reveals herself as a commendable piano player, together with the good work of all the performers who back her. In addition to be perfectly surrounded in the album by her band musicians and some guests, also mention the contribution of vocal gospel quartet The McCrary Sisters in the song “I Can Let Go”.
