This cd comes from Australia Andy Collins has done the whole production, arrangements and he also sings it with a pleasant voice with many ‘crooner singers’ influences although his roots can be found on australian folk music and USA acoustic blues This double cd (plus a bonus video of Pascoe River song) gives us the vision of a complete singer and composer as well Lake St Serenade can be considered as an eclectic cd that includes different influences from ‘mountain folk’ to ‘delta blues’, `traditional bush ballads’ or the ‘aboriginal-australian-kuu ku ya’u’ The songs lyrics tell us beautiful original stories that, explained by this Australian modern troubadour who has also written them, give an outstanding dimension to Andy’s work
