Singer and guitar player André Bisson’s proposes for his new recording entitled “Latchford” a personal vision that, according to his own words, tries to become a new perspective based in the observation and empathy to, in this way, reflect the reality of actual life, a reality we can’t control but we are able to decide how to react in front of it, because our life is build up by the decisions we made so, to move forward, we must face it with a broad perspective.

The ideas André Bisson tells us are developed along eleven songs framed in blues, Americana music and rock, always in a suggestive way where André’s voice and guitar cross with those perspectives he presents to listeners. To do so, he has counted with an excellent band which have perfectly understood the meaning of the recording, like André Bisson on vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, harmonica and tambourine, Jesse O’Brien on piano and organ, Mike Rowell on bass, Keagan Early on drums, a horn section with Pat Carey on tenor and baritone sax, Shawn Moody on trumpet and flugelhorn, Loretta Hale on trumpet and cello, Rob Somerville on trombone, Paul Barna on violin and viola, the backing voices of Quisha Wint and Selena Evangeline and finally Dan Rodrigues on piano in the song “Smile Time”.

An album with large doses of creativity, feeling, fun and good music, with varied and eclectic tempos and rhythms displayed with an accurate taste.
