André Bisson is a singer and guitar player who, along the years, has driven his music, a mixture of rhythm & blues and soul, along United States, Canada, United Kingdom or Ireland In 2015 he was awarded as best vocalist of the year by the Hamilton Blues Awards and in 2017 he received an award as best new vocalist of the year by Maple Blues, an important Canadian blues institution The same year he participated at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, that every year is organized by Blues Foundation The album he now presents becomes a summary of Motown sound, blues and gospel, with clear influences of big bands André has included twelve songs, all of them lavishly orchestrated by an amazing horn section which stands out in all songs, as well as faultless arrangements, taking into account all the nuances of André’s vocal range, which is always of an extreme beauty and punch This is a powerful, superb and robust album that undoubtedly will exceed Canadian borders to be internationally acclaimed and get the recognition it deserves
