It becomes quite difficult to describe in words and value on a few words the music and potential of this man called Anders Osborne Anders’s style is a special blend of different influences from roots American music, to reggae and New Orleans rhythm and blues It is evident our man if gifted with gret talent and a very personal musical intensity which makes him different from the musicians I usually listen to Among young New Orleans artists who do this kind of music, Anders Osborne has become a true reference and an idol In this cd recorded for Alligator Records, Osborne signs the ten songs included, and he has also done the whole production, besides singing, playing all guitars, piano and percussion The musicians who back Anders are Robert Walter on Hammond B3, piano, moog and clarinet, Pepper Keenan on percussion, guitars and vocals and finally Stanton Moore on drums Alligator Records is betting heavily on a generation of musicians who are bringing new ideas, sounds and different ways to contemporary Afroamerican music
