Amy Hart’s first contact with music started at two years old With her tender small hands she hammered away at the piano and she gradually learned to play it But Amy soon decided she wanted to play guitar Her first gig was in 1979 and, since then on, she became a regular artist in all Chicago north-side blues clubs, where she shared stage with Junior Wells or Koko Taylor During the eighties she was playing and recording along in California and the West Coast area, moving to Nashville where she went again to the recording studios and, after some time, she moved to Florida with his family Now she has come back to Chicago to perform a series of shows, among them the one that gives title to this album Along these years Amy has not stop to grow as a musician and now she has become a skilful reliable artist The supporting band sounds appetizing and well teamed, not in vain they have been working together in her last tours and they contribute to enhance the whole recording The group includes Amy Hart on guitar and vocals, Gene Bush on dobro, PT Gazell on harmonica, her husband Wally Hoffman on upright bass and Matt McDowell on drums Twelve good songs where blues, country and Americana combine in equal parts, to produce a cool well structured work
