Few things can be said about this amazing artist, guitar player, singer and song writer called Alvon If there still are blues fans who do not know about him, only say Alvon has won the Best Guitar Player Award by the West Coast Hall Of Fame Alvon Johnson has also played with lots of first class musicians, such as The Drifters, The Shirelles, Bobby Day Of Rockin’ Robin, Otis Day & The Knights or Jimmie Rodgers About his blues influences, only mention he has got them sharing stage with such great blues icons like John Lee Hooker, Pee Wee Crayton, Little Joe Blue, Harmonica Fats, Sonny Green, Frankie Lee, Guitar Shorty Lowell Fulson or Buddy Ace Besides, Alvon has toured all over the world visiting different countries like Malaysia, China, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, Bahamas Islands, the whole Europe, Australia… He brings all his versatile talent and great performing in this new album, perfectly backed by a bunch of very professional musicians who give all their knowledge to produce a well teamed sound Ten good songs, some of them own compositions and the rest Curtis Mayfield, Chuck Berry, War, Parks & Rogers, Isley Brothers or Bobby Trouppe versions Jazz and blues perfectly combined and a extreme good taste
