After some time of silence, Blind Pig Records comes back to the front line with this EP that gathers five songs coming from Altered Five Blues Band, a powerful quintet that develops the most explosive, powerful, energetic and actual blues, without getting away from the orthodoxy.

Coming from Milwaukee, the group is led by the impressive singer Jeff Taylor, whose voice is halfway between Howlin’ Wolf and B.B. King and also displays a spectacular vocal range. Guitar player Jeff Schroedl is not far behind either and he will surprise listeners with incendiary, muscular and fluid guitar solos that will catch you from the first notes of the five CD songs. An oiled rhythm section formed by Steve Huebler on keyboards, Mark Solveson on bass and Alan Arber on drums complete the band line-up.

Also mention the album has been produced by Tom Hambridge and features the impressive harmonica player Jason Ricci in three songs.
