Frankly speaking I believe The Altered Five Blues Band is ready to give us the best blues of present times In my opinion they have found the right formula to display the best twenty-first century contemporary blues Leading the band there is the impressive crushing singer Jeff Taylor, who will cause a stir with his powerful, colourful and catching voice The album becomes a wonderful trip, a musical adventure that does not have a bad single note on it, because it drives us along the winding blues roads with magical breathes of real power rock blues and the most genuine soul you can imagine With this third album, The Altered Five Blues Band have gone beyond the Milwauke boundaries they come from, to get a well known name all over USA, thanks to their unquestionable talent and a very personal sound The album gathers eleven original songs that mix actual blues with vintage soul This spectacular and powerful band includes Jeff Taylor on vocals, Jeff Schroeol guitar and backing vocals, Mark Solveson bass and backing vocals, Scott Schroeol drums and percussion and Raymond Tevich keyboards The cd has been produced by Tom Hambridge, a Grammy Award winner, who has also been the producer of artists like Buddy Guy, Susan Tedeschi or James Cotton In short words, this is a recording to be taken into account
