Now aged 23, singer, guitar player and songwriter Ally Venable has already become a roots music and blues rock bright artist, thanks to her power and versatility, that enables her to play with reliability old school blues with influences coming from Buddy Guy or Stevie Ray Vaughan among others, as well as the most actual one.

Venable has just released her new recording for German label Ruf Records, where she shows a maturity firmly based in one-piece pillars, which make her a guitarist with no limits, gifted with a great technique she develops with an attractive good taste on the whole album.

Produced by Tom Hambridge, who also plays drums, Ally Venable’s lead guitar and vocals are backed by Kenny Greenberg on guitars, Tommy Macdonald on bass, Moke Rojas on keyboards, Max Abrams on tenor sax, Steve Patrick on trumpet and the backing vocals of Rachel and Sarah Hambridge. The album includes two deluxe collaborations, Buddy Guy on guitar and vocals in the song “Texas Louisiana” where he displays a passionate duet with Ally, and Joe Bonamassa on guitar in “Broken And Blue”.

Twelve high-impact songs where Venable gives the best of herself both in guitar and vocals. Once again Ruf Records hits the nail by publishing Ally’s new work, a musician with still incredible surprises and many things to say.
