Born in Cleveland, Ohio, singer and guitar player Alex Lopez began to play piano at a very young age. Later on, he moved to guitar, because he was impressed by “British blues” guitar players like Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page and, of course, Jimi Hendrix he immediately fell in love with. After performing in countless clubs and bars and playing for some years with rock band Reminiscion, in 2013 Alex decided to start a solo career publishing his first album “Back Bedroom Blues” as a leading artist, where he performed all the instruments, besides singing and composing all the songs included on it.

This is his sixth recording and gathers eleven songs that collect different styles and sources such as rockin’ blues, jazzy soul or pop, performed with a special touch of swing, he develops with an overflowing passion and cooks at low heat with an extreme care and passion.

In the album Lopez is backed by The Xpress band with Kenny Hoye on keyboards, Steve Roberts on bass and Kana Leimbach on drums. All them take care to produce and display a straightforward, powerful well-teamed sound to, in this way, call all listeners’ attention.
