Singer, guitar player and songwriter Alex Lopez comes back to his roots in this seventh album he has just released.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Alex was strongly interested on music when he discovered 60’s and 70’s British guitar players, from Dave Clem Clemson to Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck or Jimmy Page. All of them and many others became his biggest influences during the first years of his career. From that moment on, he began to play music, something he would never abandon, evolving as a musician, as could be realized in his previous works.

This new album presents ten original songs where López performs with reliability and confidence a repertoire based on rock-blues and hard-rock, showing his mastery as guitar player and singer as well as power and control, but, at the same time, his versatility and knowledge in songs like “Spanish Blues”, “Tell Me”, or “Night Closing In”.

Alex Lopez is surrounded by Steve Roberts on bass and Kana Leimbach on drums. The three musicians are enough to offer listeners a repertoire full of strength and expressiveness, where the trio lets themselves be carried by the emotional and performing force that becomes one of the recording main goals.
