After being constantly touring with Mike Zito, Mike told Albert Castiglia that time had come for him to record a new solo album. Albert did not feel prepared because, after working hard during the pandemic composing songs for his previous album, he had not written any new material and he was not sure about the content he wanted to give to that project. It was Mike who suggested him he could record it with several guest musicians and good friends. Although Albert at first thought all his friends would be busy with their own projects, he was wrong, as the response was immediate, and they were all willing to collaborate on this new album.

So here comes a recording where, besides Albert Castiglia on guitar and vocals backed by a band that includes Kid Andersen on guitar, keyboards and bass, Jerry Jemmot on bass, Jim Pugh on keyboards, Derrick D’Mar on drums, Lisa Andersen on backing vocals, Jon Otis on percussion, Jack Sanford on sax and Eddie Tarczy on harpsichord, you will find first class guests like guitar players Joe Bonamassa, Josh Smith, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Popa Chubby, Ally Venable, Monster Mike Welch and Gary Hoey, vocalists Danielle Nicole, Kevin Burt and Alabama Mike, Rick Estrin on harmonica and finally Jimmy Carpenter on sax.

The album includes twelve songs, four of them Albert’s own compositions and the rest versions of carefully chosen songs that range from the most traditional blues to the most actual one, where all guests shine at a very high level and show their undeniable value, always under the clever direction of this great guitar player and singer named Albert Castiglia.

An excellent and careful final production, together with a fine song selection, give shape to a totally attractive album, especially for all guitar lovers and fans of the big names featured in this fantastic recording.
