Faultless, very personal and really emotional Al Cook’s new piece of work who, with this cd, reaches the top of his musical career Cook sings and plays different instruments and he is completely devoted to perpetuate the most traditional blues He does not want to renovate anything, his task is to give out the same blues that were played during the twenties and the thirties Violin, washboard, piano, acoustic guitar…, these are the instruments Cook employs to develop with passion and love the faithful sound of that time when the blues musical richness was really amazing The cd was recorded on Cook’s home kitchen and you will find on it an astonishing emotional strength together with a very professional, emotional honest work which will certainly captivate all blues lovers who have sensitivity and interest for thirties old blues
